Join Queensgate FC as they reach the final rounds of the Women's FA Cup for the first time in the club's history. Meet a group of players united in their love for football and their love for each other. But can the record-breaking team survive the challenged they face, both on and off the pitch? Do they have what it takes to go on and win?

Good for a Girl, written by Becky Deeks and directed by Lucy Wild, is a groundbreaking piece of theatre celebrating and exposing the real-life experience of women in football. This dynamic, comedic and hard-hitting production reveals the resilience of female footballers and the inequalities women still face in society today.

The play had a two week rehearsal and development process in February 2022 which resulted in a first draft performance of the piece.

​

We are also keen to hear from producers who would be interested in coming on board and for theatres/partner organisations who are interested in co-producing with us.
